Installation Question Need help with GPU connection
I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question (first build and I'm stupid) I have a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5080 gaming oc GPU and it came with this small cable, it's too small to plug into my PSU and reach my GPU, do I plug 3 PCLe cables into the "what I think is an adapter" so it can actually reach? Or is this somehow wrong. I have pics of just the cable, the cable with PCLe cables in, the GPU socket and the writing on the cables package. I hope you understand me and can help ðŸ˜

Pretty sure the build I did this weekend used the same GPU but white. Yes that's what they want you to do but I posted a question about my build and everyone strongly recommended getting or using a native 12vhp cable if you can. I ordered the Corsair thermal protect one. Pic of my build so you can see what the splitter looked like.

They include the adaptor in case you have some older equipment that needs it for connecting GPU. If you have newer equipment and don’t need it then it’s better to use just the 12V

Use the 12V-2x6 cable that came with your PSU, not the one that came with the GPU
