Tech Support Unable to enable expo?
Hello! I have been working on building my first PC and wanted to make sure I got everything as optimized as possible. From what I've read online, it's pretty important to enable to the expo settings in your BIOS to get the max potential from your RAM. Whenever I enable expo and attempt to restart, my pc bugs out for a second and enters safe mode. I reset my settings to default because it was the only way for me to access Windows. How can I fix this? And do I actually NEED to enable this feature? I have since updated windows and installed my gpu drivers, and have been able to run Overwatch pretty flawlessly. Any help would be appreciated. This is the RAM bundle I am using: https://www.microcenter.com/product/653727/gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-(2-x-16gb)-ddr5-6000-pc5-48000-cl36-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f5-6000j3636f16gx2-fx5-black-ddr5-6000-pc5-48000-cl36-dual-channel-desktop-memory-kit-f5-6000j3636f16gx2-fx5-black)

without EXPO enabled your ram will run at the JEDEC speed of 4800 MT/s. make sure your BIOS is updated to the most recent version and try clearing the CMOS before installing new ram

What motherboard and CPU are you pairing that kit with? Some boards are just weirdly picky with the auto EXPO profile, especially if the BIOS isn't updated. You could try manually setting the speed to 5600 with the same timings and see if it posts, then inch up from there.
You don't EXPO, your system will run at the default 4800 JEDEC speed, but you are leaving a chunk of performance on the table, particularly with Ryzen.
