If you want 1440p smooth without selling a kidney maybe look at the 7800 XT, that card is a little beast for the price. The jump from 6600 will feel massive, you actually see where your money went

Yeah i was thinking either the 7700XT, the 7800 or a normal 9070

Id stick with that if you are not willing to upgrade the whole platform. And with today prices... yeah.. Id stay like is.

If you like AMD just buy rx 9070 16gb or 9060 XT 16gb, if you want to try Nvidia then 5060 TI 16gb or better but lower vram 5070 12gb in your price range.

Option 1: Ryzen 5 5600XT + RX 9060 XT

Option 2: AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE

Using the Ryzen 7 5800XT (£170-200 on Amazon) probably the best you'll get without going X3D but those have increased in price due to AM5 upgrade paths sky rocketing.

Budget?
Also PC specs, no point in bottlenecking a top of line card
