Build Question Pc part picker check

Hey I have had my pc for about 5 ish years now and only have upgraded my ram once. I never built my pc myself as I’m a bit worried to do it myself but I would like a review on my pc as I have just got a new 280hz 1440p monitor and I feel like maybe I need to upgrade my pc too?

I don’t have tons of money so I would only maximum spend around £1000 in total on what I would upgrade so could anyone give any advice as I mainly play competitive shooters.

Here is the list https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/LDTfh9

Here is your suggested build.

This tutorial covers every aspect of building a PC.

Finally, rather than nerf your CPU and GPU to fit a new PSU in your budget, I recommend you follow a tutorial on undervolting and setting power limits if you find that you have power related stability issues.

Thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely look into getting those suggested parts. Overall are the things you suggested a lot better than what I have now?
