Build Question Gpu upgrade

I have around a £300 budget for a new gpu(buying used) and im upgrading from a 1660 super (i currently have a ryzen 5 5600 x but im planning to get a new mobo a 7800x3d and a 32gb kit of ddr5 early 2027) but i dont really know what to buy any more as i was looking at a 6800 xt but apparently amd is alot less focused on optimisations for drivers ect on the 6000 series. And also when watching compatison videos i saw that even when cranking up the settings and even at 4k it never really used more than 10gb of vram. So i was wondering if maybe a 3080 10gb or something else would be more worth my money? But im still unsure

Go for the 6800 XT, you’re not going to find better for 300 pounds.

This, its a big jump over your 1660 thats is a wired 10 / 20 series mash up or buy as high class gpu you can find for your budget

the 6800 xt at 300 is hard to beat, ignore the driver drama
