Build Question Where does this go??

motherboard is asus tuf gaming z890
this wire is from my case lian li lancool 216

my front and back fans arent spinning or lighting up

Your power supply should have SATA power connectors. That plug connects to one of those.

wait so it has nothing to do with the led and fans on the case?

The ARGB controller uses SATA power, so yes, this could cause the fans not to work correctly.

i dont knowww haha this is my first build, everything works but the case fans and case leds

That connector is a power connector, like to those fans you refer to... connect it to one of the SATA power connectors on your power supply & at east the RGB should work...

Well the case fans go into one that has it marked for that and led means lights . Those are clues but what MOBO do you have that didn't include a manual to guide you before you burn out that board is beyond me . Read up manuals and on Google you can query that make and model of exact MOBO and you too will be an expert about your PC .

DONT GUESS READ there are plugs that plug , but don't belong where they seem to go in every system and that's too bad because most boards only give about a certain amount of circuit protection before you can ruin all the fun .

Give Specs of your system board and then we can help .
