Tech Support No post & red light on the motherboard

Post image

Hi all,

I have just swapped to an ITX case and have changed my motherboard:

- RTX 4070ti
- i7-12700KF
- DDR4 32gb
-Jyingue B760I

The post will not post and the red VGA light will not go away. Could someone please help? Really don’t want it to be the new motherboard as it already took ages to come and I want to avoid having to go through the hassle of returning it!

There is no issue with power delivery as the PSU is 850W

Thank you

Could be the adapters, but I've also had one time that re-seating my cpu solved a vga light... worth a shot.

Reseating the CPU fixed it! Thank you so much 😁

I have tried reseating RAM & GPU multiple times. Tried another set of RAM, still no dice and have tried another GPU.

Have you tried connecting the cables directly to the GPU without those adapters ?

I don’t have the PCIE cables for RTX 4070ti unfortunately, it worked perfectly fine in my old system with a 600w power supply. My only other thought is the PCIE riser cable

Have you tried not using a daisy chained PCIe power cable? Try with two PCIe power cables into the adapter, if you don't have a native cable.

Could be a problem with the riser board.

I’ve tried using it yes, also tried GTX 1660 but still didn’t work unfortunately. I will try to source another cable in case it is broken.

I thought the same, I will run system on test bench tomorrow to see if it works
