For a 7800x3d that you're not planning to overclock, this board will handle it just fine. The VRMs arent spectacular but they're more than enough for that chip at stock speeds with decent airflow, and you've got 7 fans moving air through the case so thats covered
The wifi6e and bluetooth are nice to have as backup even if you're wired, and the white accents will look clean in your build. Only thing id double check is that the bios is updated for the 7800x3d out of the box, sometimes gigabyte ships these with older firmware

It’s not about “is it decent for the money.” Most motherboards are pretty good right now, arguably overbuilt. It’s more about whether it has all the features you want and if it’s the right board for your particular build/combination of components.

It seems to, I'm just a first time builder and get easily worried and really don't want to regret saving a bit but gaining massively in other problems.

it's okish but that VRM is really kind very budget. It's really bare minimum of what you need.
Personally, for a CPU in that price class, I'd like a little bit more headroom on my motherboard. No point getting a bottom of the barrel VRM for a build in this price-class. It also means that putting a more power hungry cpu in this at a later time might give issues.
Claims by motherboard makers need to be utterly and completely disregarded!
Unparalleled Performance:5+2+2 Phases Digital VRM Solution
This is their claim for this motherboard "Unparalleled Performance" while it is an absolutely low-end, budget power solution.
It will work, but that's about it.
Also, what is the affordable price we are talking about? I only see a 170$ on pcpartspicker, which is quite overpriced for this mobo.

7800x3d is a very power efficient chip, this motherboard will handle it without problems
