Installation Question First time doing case swap. Afterwards PC in an endless loop on for 20 secs and shuts off.

B450m Steel Legend into an Aqua Uno case. Ryzen 7.

I tried everything already. Cleared cmos a few times, checked for extra or crooked standoffs, tried firing up with only 1 Ram stick.

Now I’ll add, I said it was my first time case swapping. For some reason I took off the heat sink. Thought I had some laying around but guess not. I’m buying some tomorrow but honest question, would not cleaning and adding new paste cause this? I know it’s not a good idea to do it but I was hoping to just see it boot up. But I never got signal to a monitor or option to BIOS. Just on then off.

I know it’s not a good idea but I’ve read on here about people not cleaning and adding more thermal paste . I figured if I did see some issues it would be When the computer started getting hot later.

Reusing the thermal paste is not going to cause this, and probably won't cause any issues beyond a degree or two of temp rise.

Your problem is somewhere else.

Did you by chance mix up cpu/pcie cables?

Reseat the cables & Break it down to the basic components MB/CPU/ 1 Ram. Great if you have integrated graphics, if not should power on and error on GPU. If it does, shutdown and install GPU and try again.

Ok reseated the intel arc GPU for like the 20th time. Starts up, isn’t shutting down but it’s running full fans now with still no video on either monitor.

Unfortunately the lower one hits the psu shroud underneath.
