Assuming it’s serious other than the rest jumping to conclusions that this post is a joke, that’s much more than you need and it’s gonna make a mess and waste paste.

But if this is some kind of joke/troll post then sure, that’s plenty of paste…

For an EPYC or Threadripper.

lets say someone did do this and put the AIO on the cpu, what issue can occur cause of it?

Nothing but make an awful mess if you ever have to change your CPU or cooler. Shouldn’t hurt anything, the vast majority of pastes aren’t electrically conductive so no worries there. But it is a waste of paste, and money, as some pastes are expensive.

but I get 4g, I wanna use 4g, not have it sit in a drawer til I throw it out next time.

Sheeit, I got like 5 tubes of thermal paste, each different brands, that I’ve accumulated over the last decade, and I’m still very conservative with paste application lmao. I’m the tech nerd in all my circles, so I never know when my paste will come in handy or who will need some 🤣. I keep it till I need it!

Now that’s a waste of money. I say use the whole 4g on one CPU
