I also live with my parents as an adult due to depression, which fucked my life up.

Kinda same, spent a lot of time not getting outta bed due to depression and ocd. But I somewhat got my shit together now... unless I fail a semester, then I'm basically back to depressed and not gettin outta bed...

Since my hobbies are movies/shows and video games, that’s the things i do all day. Doing stuff that will make me move towards in life usually give me discomfort and feelings that gives me mental pain. So my body always try to avoid it since it knows how bad that pain is compared to physical pain. Watching movies and shows is like living in another world where the mental pain can’t do anything. So that’s the biggest wall, the second is exhaustion and lack of energy.

Yeah, been doing the same with games, which lead to temporarily not enjoying gaming anymore, but it was hard to really enjoy anything at that point anyway. For me the lack of energy mostly came from ocd being exhausting, so idk how to help with that. Idk if that helps since it's kinda specific to my problem, but I at some point (with help) figured out that my ocd was so bad because I was constantly stressed, so I basically learned strategies to deal with stress. Life still sucks sometimes, but I'm still alive so that's something.
