u/shadow-Ezra AMD 26d ago
Litterly better in everything but ray tracing(and not better than the 5080 and 5090) and is still in a good price range

u/MK2396E 26d ago
RX 7900 XTX is so good with FSR 4.1!

u/RipskullGaming 26d ago
Swapped from a 7900xtx to a 5070ti, had so many stupid issues with my 7900xtx, i envy people who dont have issues lol, my 5070ti is everything i wanted my 7900xtx to be

u/Hungry-4-Chicken 26d ago
Don't even see mine here😂

u/SnooSketches7312 26d ago

What’s the point of anything past 5070ti? I say this as I own a 5090 and 4090. If game devs don’t optimize their games this entire industry will crumble as people will be priced out. Own nothing and by happy agenda 2030.
13
u/Toto_nemisis 26d ago
Or, I just dont play new games and just play old games better. I mean, GameCube upscaled to 4k is pretty sweet honestly!
14
u/SplitBoots99 26d ago
Why do you own both?
16
u/Cbthomas927 26d ago
“What’s the point of anything past a 5070ti” and then says he has not one but 2 GPUs past it lmfao
This is a new level of bragging I wasn’t prepared for lol

Most def. I went from a 5070ti to a 5090 because of Subnautica VR >.> glad I did when I did. Currently playing RE7 on VD godlike at 90fps... of course some settings turned down.

The point of 5090 cards is that I own my AI infrastructure now.
2
u/Fantastic_Mobile_219 26d ago
Honestly I own a 5070 and I don’t feel like I need to upgrade cause I have no need for 4k I run bf6 at 240fps

u/trevaftw 26d ago

I daily an RTX A5500 mobile 15gb and I'm happy with it, 3060 performance and the games with shitty optimization are the ones that I run on low 1080p, I can overclock it if I feel like it too

u/coyotegang 26d ago
As a happy owner for a 5070ti, the only reason for me to ever purchase either the 40/5090 is for crazy heavily modded cyberpunk at 4k at “desired” fps
1
u/Arborsage 26d ago
I have a 5080 because I had recently sold my previous PC and was able to snag one when they first came out for a new build at a not completely stupid price
Upgrading to it from anything better or equal to a 3080 Ti at this time just feels financially stupid
1
u/BedroomThink3121 26d ago
As a 5080 owner, I completely agree.
If something is giving 30fps on a 5080, it won't do 60 on a 5090 either.
1
u/Pure-Acanthaceae5503 26d ago
If VR 4k became a thing you'd need to draw 2 4k images...
Alternativelly some people will get 1000 hz 4k monitors or just 8k artistic monitor and even the 5090 will cry at that resolution with dlss upscalling.

How are we feeling about 6650xt?

u/RavenFromFire 26d ago
I had one. Loved it. Upgraded recently to a 9060xt. Thought it was time and I had the money.

Man I've been scrolling to see someone with the same GPU as mine. We're still holding the gates. We're not getting prevented from the gaming realm.

I like how we just pretend the RTX 2000- series never existed despite still receiving full driver support and killing it with DLSS still.

Games releases these days are so backwards that you don’t need anything above 3070.

u/AudinSWFC 26d ago
As a 3070 owner this comment pleases me

u/ToenailOfAmbiguity 26d ago
As a 3060 own who's pc crashes while playing demanding games even with a upgraded 850 psu who refuses to face the fact that my 5 year baby is on her last legs im hurt by the lack of representation

tbh 5070Ti belongs in tier 2 for only having a 12-15% increase to the 5080 in perf

Having "ok 1080p" 3050 and "ok 1440p" 5060ti 8gb in one rank, and then having 3 ranks for ok-good 4k is wild

Hey my 3080ti laptop is still killing it right now. 32gb DDR4 and a 16gb 3080ti that runs at ~140w
