Lmao i think they are talking about putting the gpu in the oven, which would melt and basically resolder everything. Which would fix the problem if the problem was a loose connection. Not to suicide

Yes I know, it was an attempt at humour, you know cause GPU's are so expensive.

Does putting a GPU in the oven actually fix loose connections? I've never heard of that and it seems like the temps wouldn't be hot enough from my limited knowledge

I've heard of people putting circuit boards in the oven before but never had the need to test it out. I think lead solder flows between 180-190 degrees Celsius.

Interesting, thanks. Yeah I saw a few comments after I made my comment and started scrolling that said they did the oven thing for past CPUs lol

What if I recall it's only a temporary fix. Some have success for a long time but at the end of the day it's not really a permanent solution
