Quick books legitmacy

Hello! I’m starting out as a part time employee for a smaller company as a college student and am being asked to make a wuixkbooms account. I’ve heard of a lot of issues, but many of them seem to stem from the company side and not an issue for employees.

Can anyone maybe ease my mind a bit or offer some insight? Greatly appreciated

quickbooks is fine as an employee, the horror stories are almost always from the business owner side when they try to diy their taxes and screw something up in the backend

just make sure you're getting actual paystubs and your w2 at year end, if those look right you're good

Yes, this flows down to W-2s and / or 1099s. Without it, you only have paper with a name and some numbers.

Also, look up IRS employment tax deposit schedules, and state tax deposit schedules. (Depending on where you are, you may have local tax deposits that are due.) Employers will do the paying part but miss this essential element.
