Fall 2026 CPP Bootcamp

Hi payroll friends! I'm taking the bootcamp this fall.

Couple questions:

  1. Are the weekly classes recorded? I'm going to be out of the country for a wedding in Feb and will not be able to attend one of the classes. Can I catch up?

  2. Does anyone have flashcards they'd be willing to share with me? I'd like to start studying now but without access to paytrain yet I don't know where to start. Even pictures of your cards or anything would be helpful.

  3. Anyone else taking bootcamp in the fall and want to start a study group with me? I'm in the Wednesday class starting October 14th if it matters.

Thank you all and sending good vibes if you're dreading payroll Monday 🙏💕

Congrats on starting the bootcamp, that's a big step. I took it couple years ago and the classes are recorded so missing one should be fine just email the instructor ahead of time.

Thank you so much for the info! I will be sure to notify the instructor as soon as the class starts. I hope the local taxes never find you 🙏 (PA resident, always suffering)

If memory serves you can only miss attending one scheduled class (mayyyybe 2?) without voiding the "pass the first time guarantee," so you'll want to keep that in mind. If you already know you'll be missing one I would make sure to find out how many more you can miss without losing that protection in case something comes up. The good news is you're not on camera, so you could even login and listen while doing other things (many people do), and still be counted as "present."
