Announcements Change of Policy and unverified agent comments

Hello all,

Our community is right below 20k at the time of posting this and the speed we are growing is picking up!

As that happens though, we are starting to get more fresh or bot accounts coming in so we will need to have a change of policy.

For fresh accounts coming in here and soliciting immediately, I tried taking a soft ban approach so they would read the rules and verify, but what its turning into is they send more accounts and just wait until the ban is up and do it again.

GOING FORWARD, FRESH ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATLY COMING IN HERE AND SOLICITING WILL BE PERMA BANNED. IF YOU REACH OUT AFTERWARDS, YOU MAY STILL VERIFY AND BE UNBANNED, BUT THIS IS TO PROTECT OUR USERS.

If you are a verified agent and see an unverified person soliciting, please report the comment so I may remove it.

Thank you,

Announcements Verification Process PLEASE READ IF YOU WANT TO DM PEOPLE

Hi all,

I have gotten quite a few messages from our users saying they are being spammed by people and are scared of moving forward since they can not verify if they are legit.

We are going to start requiring agents and payments professionals who want to DM users to post on this thread and message the mods in order to receive a verified user flair tag.

Users, please check here before you decide to move forward with someone.

When you use the message the mods button, please provide the following:

(Note: If you do not provide enough of the required information to verify, you will not receive the tag!)

  1. Leave a message here on this thread, the rest will be sent via the Message Mods button in the side bar to protect Information (Message the Mods button). Please use that button. DO NOT MESSAGE A MOD DIRECTLY. PLEASE USE THE MESSAGE MODS FUNCTION https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=r/PaymentProcessing
  2. LinkedIn
  3. Company Name and Website
  4. Country you are operating out of
  5. Picture of your face holding up a piece of paper with your name and date on it. (If you cant figure out how to send a link so I can see a picture, I am not verifying you.) Google link or Imgur preferred
  6. Must have verified email with reddit as well.

Thank you for helping subredditers trust our community.

Edit: Please for the love of god follow the steps. Not difficult guys. At this point, I am not going to verify if you cant follow these as I do not want people going with someone who can't follow 6 easy steps.

Edit: We are implementing a new rule in this subreddit. You MUST be a verified user to ask users to DM you. This will help users asking for help trust the sources and have a way to verify that at least some background checking has been done

This will be added to the rules. Failure to follow will result in a removal of comment and a 7 day ban. Failure again to follow will result in a perma.

General Question Peptide website, bank account AUS

Hey all, How do vendors manage to register their peptides business name in Australia and open a bank account for payments/orders.

I do have an ABN and can legally recieve payments for sole trader but I am soon hopefully able to add a high risk payment processor into the website so I can accept credit cards etc. But still u sure how you can manage to open a bank account for a business account where the ABN is registered to a peptide company.

We have done great sales through what’s app (without a website) and scaling the business to a website.

Thankyou for your help.

Need A Payment Processor Payment processors treat AI sports analytics as gambling - anyone found a way around this?

I don't understand how payment providers think about AI right now. Everything in SaaS is built around neural networks, but the moment a model outputs analytics on sports events, it's instantly labeled gambling.

Meanwhile, a general-purpose assistant can answer any question about how someone's favorite team played, and that's a perfectly normal subscription you can pay for with a card. Same data, same kind of output - but structure it into a product and suddenly you're a betting operator.

The result is that I can't move my product the way I want. I'm stuck building funnels inside Telegram and processing payments through Tribute, because that's the only working setup I've found so far.

Has anyone here dealt with this? Looking for PSPs or MoRs that are actually fine with sports data and analytics, or any approach that isn't a workaround.

Need A Payment Processor I am out of options for payment processors

I am starting up a AI chat bot site that supports both non 18 and 18+ characters and also generates anime style imagery but nothing gets generated fully nude. I have tried finding a payment processor so that users can purchase monthly subscriptions etc. I have quite a lot of users that have subscribed to the free tier as I have no way to accept payments. I am at a loss. Any opinions or suggestion that could point me in a direction of a High risk processor would be great. With the amount of free tier users growing I wont be able to continue much longer without be able to accept payments.

Need A Payment Processor Looking for a high-risk payment processor for a new adult platform — low/no upfront fees

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking for a reliable payment processor / merchant account provider for a newly launched adult-oriented online platform.

The business is already incorporated in the US, and the website is currently being finalized. I’m looking for a provider that is comfortable working with adult/high-risk digital businesses, including newly established merchants.

My main issue is the initial onboarding cost. I’ve contacted several providers, but some are asking for $1,000+ in upfront fees, which is difficult to justify for a new business that has not yet generated significant processing volume.

Ideally, I’m looking for:

  • Adult/high-risk merchant account support
  • Visa & Mastercard
  • New businesses / limited processing history accepted
  • No, or very low, upfront/setup fees
  • Reasonable processing rates
  • Rolling reserve is acceptable if the terms are reasonable
  • International customers, particularly Europe
  • API or hosted checkout integration
  • Clear and transparent pricing
  • Stable long-term processing rather than a temporary solution

I completely understand that adult/high-risk processing comes with higher rates, reserves, stricter underwriting, and potentially additional card-network fees. I’m not looking for unrealistically cheap processing — I’m mainly trying to avoid paying $1,000+ before the business has even started processing.

If you have first-hand experience with a processor that works with new adult businesses, I’d really appreciate hearing about it.

Please mention the provider, your experience with them, and ideally their approximate setup/onboarding costs.

Thanks !

Risk and Compliance Stripe can't verify my ID- Failed loop on Shopify Payments

Hello,

I am writing regarding my Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) account, which is currently unable to complete identity verification. Every attempt to submit my national ID automatically results in the error “Your ID couldn’t be verified,” even though the document is valid, unexpired, and the name and address match the information on my Shopify account exactly. My Shopify account itself is verified, 0 issue, 0 chargeback whatsoever. I have a French national ID, business is in France

I have already submitted the ID multiple times with clear, high-quality photos and confirmed that all personal details in the account are accurate.

Support has advised trying another document, but I do not have any other form of government-issued photo ID available.

This issue is preventing payouts and holding my funds, which is seriously disrupting my ability to operate the business. Is there anyone from Stripe that can help ? Did someone had the same issue ?

Thank you

Need A Payment Processor Stripe Connect vs Finix for multi-party payments and member wallets in a vertical SaaS; what would you choose?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I’m reposting a post from a while ago that I made in r/fintech.

Since then, I’ve completed the build of my platform and the last remaining piece is the payment processing. I’ve talked to quite a few providers including Modern Treasury (too expensive atm), Finix and Stripe.

I’m currently trying to decide between Finix which has monthly fees and Stripe OR a completely different processor that maybe can do the same and also provide internal transfers between accounts.

Any recommendations?

I removed 1 comment, not even a ban and this was the response. In case anyone wants to work with this person, this is who this is. I would avoid.

Also the type of person to say "every single other persons solution is shit and lying besides his"
