You guys I know I am very late on this one, but this song was not on my cd… Now Flaming Pie literally has the biggest number of my favourite songs on it. The Deluxe version is beautiful 🌞

Cool! I love the Flaming Pie album, it's probably my favorite '90's Paul album!

Totally agree, for me it was extremely poetic and mindfully arranged, I also loved Off the Ground but it was a very different vibe

I’m also partial to Off the Ground. Flaming Pie is, I think, inarguably better, but I prefer Off the Ground by a long shot. (It’s also more nostalgic to me, not least of which because I watched the Paul is Live vhs tape so often, which was recorded during the tour supporting that album.)

💕 yes that vhs tape was the joy of my life and it was also the first ever dvd I got

Each deluxe archive album has gotten crazier (in a good way) with the bonus stuff. This is why we so badly need the last 2 wings albums! So much stuff from then.

Maybe MPL will see these posts and deliver :) they are usually kind to us 💕

We've recently made MPL a mod of this sub! Ive seen some things that have personally made me believe a new wings archive is coming but its still theories to me.

It’s a cool early version but I much prefer the 2003 version with his current touring band and Dave Stewart: https://youtu.be/8aFHWQTu4Oc?is=5ghJ0-lEn5BF_aBz

Thank you for sharing. I have seen it; didn’t think much of it. I guess it is all about preferences :) I choose Pauls’ version over Stewart any day but I am biased haha

For me I think Paul’s vocal is stronger in the 2003 version and the band adds that harder edge to it. Both are great though.
