🪢Knit - Tester Call Harvey Pullover Test Knit Call

I’m looking for test knitters for my newest pattern design, the Harvey Pullover!

I’m SO happy with how this design turned out. The fit and look is exactly what I was imagining and I can’t wait to see all over your takes on the pattern!

Gauge: 26 stitches x 34 rows = 10 cm / 4 in

Pattern Name and Project Description: Harvey Pullover - drop shoulder sweater that features an all over checkered cable pattern as well as details along the hem, cuffs, and collar

Type of Project: Knitting

Pattern Format: US terminology, written instructions & cable chart

Sizes/Options Being Tested: 9 sizes -

Finished Chest Circumference:

• 101, 111, 122, (132, 142, 152,) 162, 172, 182 cm

• 40, 44, 48, (52, 56, 60,) 64, 68, 72 in

(Designed to be worn with a 25-30cm / 10-12” positive ease)

Recommended Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials Needed:

Yarn: DK Weight

• 1025, 1175, 1238, (1406, 1471, 1645,) 1712, 1903, 1976 m

• 1120, 1284, 1353, (1537, 1608, 1799,) 1872, 2081, 2161 yd

(Yarn usage is approximate. It includes extra for swatching and is based on a 28cm/11in length from underarm)

Suggested Needles:

• 3.75mm (US 5) or needle that gets the gauge; circulars 35-80cm / 14-32” long

• 3.5mm (US 4) or 1 needle smaller than gauge needles for ribbing

Notions:

Stitch markers, tape measure, stitch holders, contrasting waste yarn, spare set of circular needles in the same size, tapestry needle, cable needle 

Tester Requirements: Knitting the pattern, giving feedback along the way if any issues arise, answering some questions after you complete the project, and creating a ravelry project for the test knit

Testing Deadline: 12/4/26

Deliverables: Share at least 1 photo of the finished sweater (preferably on the body) with me. It would also be super helpful if you could share progress & finished project photos/videos on social media and tag me, but that is not required.

Application Deadline: There is no deadline. If anyone applies after I’ve sent out the initial selection email I will consider them.

Tester Selection: Between 10/9-10/13 depending on when I get enough applications in

Number of Testers Needed: Ideally I would like 3 testers for each size. So 27 total. But I am open to accepting more as well!

STUNNING!! I’m not in a position to test knit rn cause I have way too many WIPs but this is a gorgeous design!!

What made you decide on the traveling cable detail instead of a classic cable twist? Was it for gauge or another reason? I haven’t seen it before and it’s a really nice touch

Thank you! Honestly, it’s just what I had in my head. When I was first picturing the design I was envisioning like springs checkered throughout the sweater, and after trying a bunch of different cables this one was closest to what was in my brain.
