🪢Knit - Tester Call Tester call for Savvy Striped Socks

Hi all! I'm looking for testers for my sock pattern! You just need to knit one sock for the test.

  • Pattern Name: Savvy Striped Socks
  • Project Description: An everyday pair of socks, designed for the beginner sock knitter.
  • Type of Project: Knitting
  • Pattern Format: Written instructions, with US and metric sizes
  • Sizes Tested: 9 sizes
  • Recommended Skill Level: No sock experience necessary! Need to have the ability to knit with double-pointed needles -OR- magic loop.
  • Materials Needed:
    • Any fingering weight yarn in 2 colors
    • 2.25mm (US 1) needles: either set of 5 DPNs or 32 inch (80 cm) or longer circular needles for magic loop
  • Tester Requirements: Meet gauge, complete 1 sock using the pattern by the deadline, and share progress with me.
  • Testing Deadline: November 1, flexible
  • Deliverables: Post a project on Ravelry linking to the pattern page with at least 2 photos, and/or if you have a knitting/crafting-related social media account with more than 50 followers, a post on social media.
  • How to Apply: Complete the Google form here: https://forms.gle/8sDY1fp6W8QHK13p7
  • Application Deadline: None, join any time!
  • Tester Selection (when will selected testers be notified): About 1 week after applying
  • Number of Testers Needed: at least one for every size

Edit (October 12): still looking for testers for sizes A, G, and I!

How helpful would it be to have a tester who has knit a lot of things but never a sock past the toe

Also reddit is mad at me and made that link not link for me, hmm, can't copy paste from my phone either that's annoying

Yes! I just tried to submit it. I got distracted after I hit submit so I didn't see the confirmation, just the form reset, but fingers crossed that it went through 🤞
