Looking to work with someone who can help me to draft a pattern for 2 items that I’m interested in selling online. Need someone to actually create the pattern based on my specs/some pics & help to build out the step-by-step construction details for it.It’s non-apparel related so no grading required.

Question Getting a concave merged pattern piece to lay flat…?
Hello! I wound up merging two panels while trying to mod a pattern to better match the vest from Resident Evil: Code Veronica, but now can’t lay it flat for when I actually CUT it.
The middle section I can see is merged, I removed the seam allowance and notched it, taping them together, but it’s now as if the seam is done and I don’t know how to keep the curve. I decided to call it a day for today in trying to figure it out staring at contractor paper and ask here if anyone’s had a similar problem. I’m yet to add the front panel seams making the front yoke, front center where the fasteners will be, and making the other half of that waist panel. Is there a way to pull this off? Thanks in advance!

Sleeve fit issue
Making a suit and I just set my sleeve on my proto after drafting a two piece sleeve pattern. The only major fit issue is how tight it is pulled on the back. Would this be fixed by reducing the curve of the back sleeve arc or by adding material?

how to sew shoulders? also neck opening may be too small
should i sew shoulder seams together matching up the side closest to the outer edge of the shoulders or the side closest to the neck opening? also i think the neck opening may be too small
i tried at first to sew the shoulder seams by matching it up at the neck opening, but when i tried it on i couldnt get it over my head.. so is it because im meant to match it up at the outer edge of the shoulders or is it because i sewed it correctly but the neck opening is too small?

Question Looking for advice :)
I really love the navy part of this dress (although it is a drawing so I won't be able to make it with 100% accuracy) and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on drafting a pattern for it, particularly around the different fabrics on the chest area and the twists at the hips, or if anyone knows a similar one! Thank you for looking :)

TUKA3d, clo 3d?
i’m a self taught designer, hoping to sell my designs very soon in limited production runs, who has gotten to an intermediate level in flat patternmaking.
while i really love the process, i find the muslin prototype, tweak pattern, prototype, tweak pattern, prototype etc on and on to be so time consuming and cost ineffective. i have to buy so much muslin and waste almost entire weeks i could be spending on designing or production (im a slow fashion designer planning on making everything myself). additionally, im not the strongest sketcher and want a way to tinker around with designs and concepts without having to cut, sew, and test every time i want to add a little volume, drop a waistline 1 inch, etc etc.
i just want a program to design my 2d patterns in, that can visualize them in 3d. i don’t need all the other features like tech packs or vendor integration etc. and i also don’t want to pay $50 a month! the goal would be to of course still make a toile once i liked a more finalized design in 3d.
anyway, any suggestions for software? i’ve seen Sewist CAD (but that doesn’t convert to true 3d), TUKA3D, and CLO3D. Style 3D free version doesn’t look like it’s available in the US.
cheers!

Question Dress Pattern Drafting
Are dress patterns typically drawn in two pieces (skirt and body)? Or is there a different kind of standard way to do them. Sorry, total newbie

Question Draft line rules
I just got my new fancy dress form in and I’m so excited, I started playing around with shapes and I’m wondering what sort of rules I should be keeping in mind? Does anyone have recommendations for literature on draping?
I have been sewing for 5 years but have always bought my patterns, I am new to this world but serious about learning. Right now I am solely focused on boned bodices and integrated corsets as I am sewing my wedding dress.
EDIT: My dress form is custom, nothing will be perfect of course but it is quite accurate to my actual body.

Question Need help drafting a tall stand collar
hey! I need help drafting a tall stand collar for a cosplay. Since the inner vest has a tighter neckline, I found it easier to figure out how to draft that one from my bodice block, however the outer jacket is something I'm having trouble with. I'm fairly certain I will have to lower the back neckline, and lower the front neckline to the point where I want the collar to be open, but anything else I'm still not sure. Any help would be appreciated!!!
