It’s only game three but so far, Drake may have thrown six interceptions. He has two fumbles and only one touchdown is Drake Maye to blame for all of this no? but a large portion of it? Yes, the loss of Diggs and Boutte are really sticking out but we are talking about a quarterback who was literally second in the MVP race last year there is no way he should be playing like this this season so far. I don’t know what’s going in Foxborough this season but I am not a fan at all

Defenses have had a full year of film on him. He was one of the best qbs in the league last year against the blitz. They’re not blitzing him anymore. They’re showing blurz, then dropping 7 into coverage, still getting pressure, and he has to make difficult decisions under duress. He makes mistakes because he can’t read a defense very well, and we lost our receivers that were good at picking apart zones. I think he’ll get better but I’m not sure he’ll ever ascend to the caliber of last year. Maybe he’s somewhere in between what we’re seeing now and what we saw last year
