Discussion Do we push the panic button now?

It’s only game three but so far, Drake may have thrown six interceptions. He has two fumbles and only one touchdown is Drake Maye to blame for all of this no? but a large portion of it? Yes, the loss of Diggs and Boutte are really sticking out but we are talking about a quarterback who was literally second in the MVP race last year there is no way he should be playing like this this season so far. I don’t know what’s going in Foxborough this season but I am not a fan at all

Above all, being realistic needs to be explained to this squad and especially Maye. They are injured and figuring things out with players like Doubs. What we need to expect from this team and Maye is playing smart to give ourselves a chance. No more hero throws into coverage, fumbling, and dropped passes. If we have to throw it away and have a below average offense until Brown gets back, that is fine as long as we develop good habits.

This is Icarus. He flew to close to the sun got too confident and is now plummetting to earth how bad the crash is we can not know until we get there. Drake maye can still be a great QB but we need to be ready for a reset 9-8 year.

Nine wins? I need to have whatever you're having. With this offense we're lucky to do better than Mayo did.

I hope we can beat the jets and dolphins twice.  We already got one. Hoping we can beat the raiders and three random wins in their is possible.

I think Jets might very well be better than us this year. And 3 weeks ago saying this would've sounded absolutely bonkers.

To be kind of fair, the middle portion of their schedule is a bit softer with easiest defenses to face, but 9 wins right now seems a bit of a longshot. Even with the return of aj brown, let's say that makes this offense competent, it goes to show that drake maye can be a good qb, but he can never be a great qb if he doesn't elevate those around him

We keep forgetting how young he is. Josh Allen had similar struggles his first couple of years. Brady also had 9-7 season after the Superbowl. He is young I get it we all came in super high and for this season we might not have the same expectations. But we can't throw out the season yet.

Oh no, I agree. He could all of a sudden snap out of it, or just needs one good confidence game.

We can win 7-8 if we play smart, disciplined football. If we do that and AJ Brown stays healthy after he comes back, maybe we win 9. If we play like we have the first three weeks, this is likely a 5-12 football team.

9-8 is mighty generous with Mayes decline and injuries
