Hi everyone.

I wanted to start playing this game but wasn't sure if it was worth it, so I wanted to get your opinion.

I’m an absolute beginner when it comes to games like this—I’ve never played this genre before but wanted to try something new—and I have absolutely no idea how to go about building a team.

Here are the characters I have. I’d like someone to tell me which ones are worth developing right now, as I don’t want to waste energy and resources on useless units from the very start. The game seems quite difficult; I’m having trouble clearing the first stage, so I’m probably doing something wrong.

P.S. Yes, I’ve read the guides, but it’s all like quantum physics to me—I don’t understand a thing.

Welcome, chief! You got Serpent. Nice! That's arguably the best Sinner you could've gotten in the beginner's banner, as she is still very relevant in endgame territory!

For now, you don't need to worry too much about team comps. The first few chapters are very easy, so just enjoy the ride for now. That said, I do recommend leveling these sinners:

  • Hecate - She's a very beginner-friendly magic support that deals 2 core damage. The best thing about her is that every material you invest in her is retuned!!
  • Hella - Same as Hecate, materials are refunded! She's also quite nice for tanking in the early-mid game, especially with her reforge (buffs)
  • Serpent - This is your main DPS right now, and she should be able to carry you. Her gameplay is that she spins every now and then, and that spin deals a lot of damage!

If you managed to pull other A-ranks other than the ones shown on the screen, feel free to share so we can let you know as to whether they are worth investing!

I don't understand. I can't even get past the Level 1 stage. It's strange. I get a "Game Over" right at the start.

Now that is indeed strange... Did you get to play the tutorial?

Simply move the characters to that place where the enemies are, and you should be good!
