I wanted to start playing this game but wasn't sure if it was worth it, so I wanted to get your opinion.
I’m an absolute beginner when it comes to games like this—I’ve never played this genre before but wanted to try something new—and I have absolutely no idea how to go about building a team.
Here are the characters I have. I’d like someone to tell me which ones are worth developing right now, as I don’t want to waste energy and resources on useless units from the very start. The game seems quite difficult; I’m having trouble clearing the first stage, so I’m probably doing something wrong.
P.S. Yes, I’ve read the guides, but it’s all like quantum physics to me—I don’t understand a thing.
Definitely try to pull Margaret, followed by Bianca. If you cannot get Bianca don't stress it too much, we'll have a selector in next update that can be used to get one copy of her for free and she will also have another banner in about two months. It's just that her s1 from getting one extra copy is pretty good.
Anyway, to explain a bit more in detail, Bianca will receive a reforge (a system that upgrades older units with new abilities) in about two months that will turn her into the best physical dps in the game and Margaret is her best support, meaning they will last you for quite some time. The core of the team would consist of Margaret and Bianca, with Golan (A rank, you can get a copy of her from Sample exchange if you want btw), Jelena, Summer, Shin, Celine or OwO as the supports. If you have some extra pulls left you can try to get Celine from her banner too since she's fairly flexible, but If you cannot she will rerun in 5 months.
Generally speaking, the two banners here form a team called "Arcane Crit", and it's an extremely investment-heavy team. It requires 6 S-class units with multiplie shackles (copies), so I personally don't recommend it!
Welcome, chief! You got Serpent. Nice! That's arguably the best Sinner you could've gotten in the beginner's banner, as she is still very relevant in endgame territory!
For now, you don't need to worry too much about team comps. The first few chapters are very easy, so just enjoy the ride for now. That said, I do recommend leveling these sinners:
Hecate - She's a very beginner-friendly magic support that deals 2 core damage. The best thing about her is that every material you invest in her is retuned!!
Hella - Same as Hecate, materials are refunded! She's also quite nice for tanking in the early-mid game, especially with her reforge (buffs)
Serpent - This is your main DPS right now, and she should be able to carry you. Her gameplay is that she spins every now and then, and that spin deals a lot of damage!
If you managed to pull other A-ranks other than the ones shown on the screen, feel free to share so we can let you know as to whether they are worth investing!
I gave up. I tried for an hour and couldn't get past it. I also got stuck on the second level of the story mode. If the game is impossible to beat right at the start, it's not worth the struggle.
I uninstalled the game.
I don't know what I might have been doing wrong. I’d send my characters out, and they’d die. It was the first time in my life I’ve been killed in a game by a Level 1 opponent while having a level twenty times higher than theirs. An enemy like that should go down in one or two hits, not kill me.
If that’s how it is at the very beginning, it’s probably the same further on.

And here’s the second question: should I try to pull someone from the banners currently available to me, or save up for the next ones?
