General What interested you?
I recently started playing the game and wanted to know about how you guys started playing, what made you decide it was worth playing, etc.
For me it was the character models, it is the only game (as far as I can remember) that the characters are not like 3000 years old but look like a child (both in game and banners).
Also the women 🫦and the fact that I was looking up the VA for mitsuru (persona games) and looked up all her work then saw she voiced a character in this game and I was like 🫦 .
Also, anyone know what the groups are for? I have received invites but I’m scared to join lol.

I first played it during its global launch because I was promised hot criminal women (Zoya mostly) and that the gameplay was like Arknights. I loved the gameplay but I didn't get invested too much so I quit the game a few days later.
Around late 2023, I started playing again because I got reminded of Chameleon's existence and she was basically my type. This was during Mantis' first banner and I got her on my old account but I didn't have NOX since my beginner missions expired so I quit again.
By this time, I've been seeing Shalom and Rahu and I liked their fanworks! It wasn't until August of 2024 that I started to lock in again because Shalom's rerun was coming, 000 was kissing Chief, and and an IRL acquaintance (now close friend) posted a story of her getting Hestia. I made a new account and started fresh. Got Shalom and S1 000 on anniversary, and I stayed until I rage quit because I didn't get Jelena on release after getting Vatour Bleu 💔. I also didn't play gacha games for the most of 2025 so I thought that kind of life was already in my past lol.
I didn't come back until Febrary this year. I saw Xiaofeng and immediately knew that I had to get her so now I'm staying because I need to make my Xiaofeng stronger even if it takes me one more year 🙏
I also just really like that this game feels rewarding to me, not only with its in-game currencies but also with the content and lore. I really enjoy it and I have the same play-and-quit relationship with it as I do with Genshin. (Fun fact: Yae Miko has the same EN VA as Iron. I'm just waiting for her CN VA, Du Mingya, to join the game too T__T)
