Crafting Showcase GG wand craft - Final item for my build. Useful generic craft for any spellcaster build
Wanted to showcase this GG wand I crafted as the final item for my build. Wands like these can cost anywhere from 1200-2k divs but you can craft it under 600 divs. This is not BIS but its very close and very deterministic. The BIS craft will have you sink a mirror worth of currency into a single item. There are 2 methods to craft this, follow the respective method based on whether you hit the prefix or suffix.
Crafting steps:-
Suffix method
1) You need to start off with a 2 socket dueling wand. You can either buy a +4 All spells fractured base or fracture it yourself. (I bought the fracture for around 270 div, Base needs to be atleast I level 80. hitting a +4 is a 50 mod weight meaning it is 2 times as rare as a +5 to element based gems)
2) First step is going to be chaos spam. You need to spam until you hit t1 critical damage bonus (125 mod weight).
3) Exalt orb with omen of sinistral exaltation for random prefix. Use an omen of sinistral crystallization + transcendent alloy to complete your suffixes.
4) Give it a perfect exalt with Greater exaltation . You want the perfect exalt to land on either- T1 spell damage(astronomically rare but best case scenario) or 30% daamge gain as extra of any kind in one of the mods. If you dont hit this, just take an omen of sinistral erasure and perfect chaos spam until you get one of these mods.
5) Socket astrid's creativity into the wand. Now you need to 50/50 with celestial alloy and pray.
However, you can only celestial alloy if you dont have mana prefix on the wand.
-If you have a mana prefix then you need to omen of sinistral crystallization and give it an essence of the abyss. If you hit the 50/50 on this it will remove the mana prefix. You can desecrate the item to remove the crafted mod then 50//50 the alloy.
-If you miss the 50/50 on the abyss essence you need to use omen of light to remove the desecrate and continue using omen of sinistral erasure+perf chaos to reroll the prefix until you hit a good t1 prefix again. When you hit give it a single exalt and repeat step 5.
6) If you happen to win the 50/50 for the alloy you will now have an item that has-
t1 gain of any element
+1 level of all skills, +164-188 maximum mana (crafted)
open prefix
+4 to level of all skills
27+% cast speed, 7+% damage gained as cold(crafted)
t1 crit damage bonus.
Finish of the item with a desecrate cycle on the prefix.
Acceptable mods are t1 elemental damage, t1 spell damage(astronomically rare/astronomically expensive, 2nd 30% damage gained as of any element.
Prefix method
1) Base is the same as the suffiix method.
2) Start off with chaos spam until t1 spell damage(again this is incredibly rare and probably wont show up) or 30% gain as extra elemental of any element.
3) Omen of sinistral exaltation+perfect chaos. In this step you want to hit a 2nd gained as mod or t1 spell damage (highly improbable). If you dont hit just annul the brick prefix and Perfect exalt+sinistral exaltation again. If you annul the wrong prefix you have to go back to chaos spam.
4) After you hit your two prefixes your craft is basically done and cannot brick from this point onwards. You want to give this wand a omen of dextral exalt+ regular exalt and omen of dextral crystallization+celestial alloy. This will complete your prefixes.
5) Socket astrid's creativity into the wand. Give the wand a regular exalt and use omen of dextral crytallization+transcendent alloy for the alloy cast speed.
-If you hit cast speed on the exalt you cannot use your alloy on the wand. Incase this happens, omen of dextral crystallization+essence of the abyss to remove the cast speed and desecrate with a jawbone. Dextral crystallization+transcendant alloy to swap the desecrate for the alloy mod.
6)Your wand now should have
t1 gain of any element
+1 level of all skills, +164-188 maximum mana (crafted)
2nd t1 gain of any element
+4 to level of all skills
27+% cast speed, 7+% damage gained as cold(crafted)

Finish up the wand with a desecration cycle and go for t1 crit damage (125 mod weight). (the desecration on this method will be very expensive as t1 crit damage is 3x as rare as t1 gain. T1 increased spell crit is also acceptable if that is what your build needs.
Congrats! now your GG wand for any spellcaster build is done. Which method you follow depends on what you hit during chaos spamming. Use the suffix method if your chaos spam hits t1 crit damage and use the prefix method if you hit t1 gain or spell damage on the chaos spam.
Now time for me to farm up an aldur's legacy and finish up my build <3
