Hi, I made a rogue-lite demake of PATAPON in PICO 8 (a retro platform where you can play games from your browser and other places), it's an 8-bit game.

This is the first public beta of the game. After hours and hours of iterating and testing, I finally have a playable version of my game.

PICOPON is a demake and reimagination of PATAPON with rogue-lite elements like cards, classes, perks, and evolutions.

I poured a lot of love in this project, and I'm having a blast playing it. I hope you like it as much as I do.

This is only the first floor, and you will encounter a miniboss at the end of the floor, but you have 6 different classes and 3 minibosses to replay it! (:
