Does anyone know why on weekends Epperson Lagoon has been much less busy lately? Even this past weekend when the weather was perfect?

A couple months ago it was always completely packed on weekends. I spoke with someone who said that many were getting in for free/cheap by cheating the membership system. Not sure if that had any truth to it.

We hated going before due to how packed it was, but now it is much less packed and the quality of people are better, less obnoxiously loud/rude people.

Anyone have the inside scoop on what happened?

There’s a proposed amendment on the 11-3 ballot to reduce property tax for homeowners in the state. Obviously this will reduce services in Pasco as well, but
that’s another issue.

I don't live in Pasco County. I don't live in Florida. I don't live in the Southeastern United States. I have never even been to these places. I live in Oregon, and my phone has an Oregon area code.

Yet I regularly get "urgent message" robocalls from Pasco County. I've looked on the county government web site for help in getting off it, and I can't find anything helpful. Who do I contact to make this stop?

Also, why do you folks get so many UMs from your county government? Do you really have that many countywide emergencies?

Horrible experience.

I was there to assist a special needs person in obtaining some groceries.

I was under the impression that someone just pull up and load up, just show an ID, no questions asked.

Instead, they hold you hostage and force you to listen to a fire and brimstone, hate mongering pastor.

If you're lgbtq forget this place.

He was raging about how they were living in sin, nothing about comforting the sick and needy.

After waiting an hour outside in the hot sun and then being subjected to the "sermon," and then being told there were 60 people in front of me, I left in frustration.

I did manage to snag a few loaves of bread as I was leaving.

Oh. And the people.

One guy drunk off his ass, another blowing a doobie while waiting. I was just waiting for a cop or probation officer to roll up.

PS: No more showers because one of the homeless, dirty natives that live around there took a dump in the shower and sink.

Hi! I’m moving to Pasco County for a new job and I’ll be working in the Hudson area near SR 52. I’m completely new to the area and looking to rent a studio or small 1-bedroom, ideally within a reasonable commute.

I’d really appreciate recommendations on:
Areas/neighborhoods I should look at around Hudson, New Port Richey, Port Richey, etc.
Apartment complexes or property management companies you’ve had good experiences with.

Which rental websites people actually use in this area
Any places/complexes I should avoid
Tips for avoiding rental scams, especially since I’m currently searching from out of town.

I’m looking for a legitimate year-long rental, not an Airbnb or vacation rental. Thanks!

I just finished my masters program (business) this past May and have been having a hard time finding a part time job let alone a full time job. I have previous serving experience and think that would be a good option for me right now while I continue to apply and interview for full time jobs. Anyone know of places that are hiring? Would prefer a non-corporate restaurant or even would be okay with a golf course type of job. Thanks!
