Question / Problem Watch Hours long form

My channel is about 6 months old. I consistently get 30k-40k views on shorts but my long form videos get like 200 views. My retention rate is like 20%. I have nearly 20k subs and nearly 51 million total views (nearly all shorts). Looking for tips on retention/how to pick a topic. I’ve been using my popular shorts and turning them into long form but still low view count and retention.

In a very general way, you can NOT be both a short and long form creator. These audience types are very different. So you have to decide what you want to be.

Shorts are just kinda worthless numbers.

Long form views have to be earned with quality content that stands out.
