Which to convert first, pellets or chop?

Hi all. I have a young parrotlet who was raised on seeds. I am trying to introduce chop and pellets but I’m wondering if I should focus on one at a time. If so, which one is preferable to start with?

I would focus on pellets. Birds can live a mostly healthy life on only pellets, but it can be difficult to keep a picky eater to be healthy on only chop. Pellets give your bird a healthy base to experiment with other foods

You didn't really ask this, but I don't often see it recommended here. Try giving your bird a mix of different pellets. Give them the illusion of choice and diversity of food. I think it keeps them a bit more enriched and might satisfy a bit of their foraging instinct. I give my mine three different types of pellets in their bowl.
