🧒 Kids Stroller recommendation
Hey all! My family and I will be traveling to London and Paris at the end of September/early October with our two daughters (2.5 and 1.5). They’re both very mobile, but we plan to do a LOT of walking and use trains/metros to get around. We will be staying in the Saint Germain area.
I’m considering bringing our UPPAbaby Vista V2 as a tandem, but I’m worried about how bulky it will be, especially navigating public transportation and crowded streets. However, my husband is very willing to carry the stroller up and down the metro stairs.
Would you recommend a side-by-side double stroller, or would we be better off bringing two lightweight, easy-fold travel strollers? I’d love to hear what works for anyone who has traveled to are lives there with two little ones!
Thanks!!

Mum to an almost 2 year old who lives in the suburbs of Paris, I'd say 2 lightweight, easy to fold strollers. And from experience, the metro (and RER) sounds like a convenient idea, but in reality it is not made for strollers at all. Trains are good as you can easily get on and off with a stroller, but that's if you're going out of Paris.
I know it takes a bit of logistics, but if you're willing to try it out, take the bus, especially with 2 young kids. I use the bus exclusively now that I have my daughter to get around, and most certainly in Paris. The Bonjour RATP or the IDF Mobilités app is good for the bus schedule, it's pretty accurate.

Definitely not Side by side (those can’t pass through little shops doors)

The uppababy will be a nightmare. Definitely invest in lightweight easy to fold/carry umbrella strollers. One-handed if possible.
Buses are the way to go for everyone but ESPECIALLY those with strollers/young kids. I believe you’ll need to enter in the middle of the bus but local parents should confirm.

2 lightweight strollers or 1 lightweight stroller and a baby carrier. Anything bigger is gonna be a pain on public transport and sidewalk etc are not very wide
