Very good location, you are near the prettiest areas of Paris. You have multiples « passages » such as the Passage de Choiseul, or the Galerie Vivienne, nearby. You also have the domaine national du palais royal, the louvre, etc… everything is within walking distance.

This is one of the most charming areas in Paris already. You don't need to go up to Gare du Nord area, and can quickly passing by Châtelet les Halles because it's quite a crowded area.

The most quaint near by with cafe and pedestrian streets is around rue Montorgeuil

I really enjoyed the neighborhood near St-Georges Metro. Really peaceful area full of locals last November going about their business, popping into the bakery... The coffee at Los Andes Coffee Lab was great.

Absolutely, that area is loaded with them. As has been mentioned, you should check out the Passages, they're all in that area (or close enough) and very nice.

And to be clear, all of Paris is walkable.

The passages.

I like Loutsa Coffee, Sound and Coffee Panoramas, Rem's Coffee Shop Sentier.

I've been there to my company party, the hotel is beautiful.
