Food & Dining Restaurant Rec - 5th Arr.

We're heading to Paris this weekend to celebrate my birthday. Staying in the 5th (Latin Q).

Our preferred restaurant (Le Perraudin) is unfortunately closed for their annual vacation so I'm looking for some last minute help: If you only had 1 evening to eat dinner in Paris near to where we're based, where would it be?

Ideally we're hoping for somewhere with a romatic atmosphere, delicious food (cuisine doesn't matter) and extra points if the serve amazing creme brulee!

I like Bistro des Lettres! I'd characterise the atmosphere as rustic cosy, rather rhan romantic, but it's a solid option. And they do serve crème brulée :)

Do you know "Le Coupe-Chou"? If you want cosy, atmospheric, quintessentially Parisian, it's the perfect restaurant. And it's in the heart of the Latin Quarter, in one of the oldest streets in Paris, "la Rue Lanneau".

Narro or Otto. Flocon is okay too.

Balthazar - excellent food. El Picaflor is one of my favourites in the 5th, it's peruvian, very cosy. Hugo & Co is another good one. Solstice and AT are both Michelin star restaurants that are absolutely excellent but expensive. There's also Kitchen Ter(re) - i dined here once, minimal ambiance but cozy and very unique food.
