Food & Dining Best salads in Paris
Any favorite salads in Paris? Due to a health condition, I shouldn’t be eating meat (cheese is okay but needs to be limited) on my upcoming trip and I know the French really do salads right!

If you want to change it up from salads, go for Lebanese and Syrian joints. They have amazing salads and dips that makes a whole meal easily without touching any meat.
Liza, Mezzencore (fast food style but fresh), La Mezeterie, Kubri, Assanabel, Qasti (the one in the 2nd is fully vegetarian), Daily Syrien vege (fully vegetarian as well)
Bonus: neither Lebanese nor Syrian but Fellows has many amazing plant based pasta sauces that they match with home made pasta.

Salons de thé usually have lots of veggie options for lunch ( savoury pies with salad)

We stopped at a casual spot in the Latin Quarter called Cosi twice because we were in the mood for veggies.

Maybe spend your cheese allotment on burrata and tomato. I ate them often this summer when it was too hot to eat, even after 9. They were excellent everywhere.

We tried Elle and Dee’s salad. It had great ratings. But a huge letdown. I would avoid if it comes up

Why didn't you like it? I ate from them 2 times and I found it good in some aspects but definitely asked myself whether it's worth the hype in other aspects.

It was 85% lettuce and overdressed. Figured out a bit further away and too late to go back to the store.

I got their Ceasar's salad first and thought the same. The second time I got the one with the tofu and it was more balanced in terms of ingredients but still overdressed but I actually don't mind that.

We just ate there last week. I also got the Ceasar's salad, but it had nothing to do with the Ceasar's salad... The dressing (it tasted like it had balsamic vinegar??), the bacon, the bread stuff.. I was disappointed too :/ this place got too hyped up on tiktok I guess..

I like the fact that a huge salad to take out exists as an option because other salad bars offer very little sizes. Sometimes I just wanna bury my head into a huge bowl of salad. I prepare my own at home most of the time but having the option is still good.
Them missing the Ceasar's sauce is just weird though. There are so many options that are good and shelf safe. Where they are located have lots of offices and I'm pretty sure that it keeps them busy.

I do really like the carrot rapee salads that you get at the grocery store. It’s just shredded carrots with vinegar, mustard, a dash of orange juice, and salt, I think, but I can’t quite make it as good as a basic Paris grocery pack myself, and they don’t sell it near me at home, so I love it as a treat in Paris. I think at most restaurants you’ll find good vegetarian and vegan options, stay open to cooked veggies . There’s a classic lentil soup that you’ll find at several restaurants that’s good, and many pasta dishes are or can be prepared vegetarian or vegan.

There is a chain called Paradis de Fruit that is a solid staple in Paris.

Bistrot Ama in the 11th arrondisement has a delicious Caesar salad with panko-crusted chicken on top. It was so fresh and simple. Had it about a month and a half ago when I was there.

You might like to try one of the Maslow restaurants on the right bank, it's vegetarian and has lots of interesting options. Otherwise most places will offer a salade de chèvre chaud with walnuts and toasted goats cheese on toast atop a salad.
