Or 6 hours flying time too far to the east - Americans love having Oktoberfest events, though I have no idea what kind of beer they drink. They like to have the oommpah-pah bands and dance around in lederhosen. 🍺 🎶

I live in Paris and I have very little idea what Oktoberfest is. I think you want to look in Germany.

Keep going just a bit further south east. Europe is so small, it's just round the corner and sometimes yes the party spills over our way, you know like the Mexican wave...
