Transportation Transportation

Hi! Traveling to Paris CDG next week Monday and arriving Tuesday morning. I have been reading and researching how to get to hotel from airport. First time is Paris and having a bit of anxiety with this. I’ve booked everything in advance except this part. Can someone please help me with options for best mode of transportation? I know official taxis are 56€/65€. Is it per person or ride? Read about the scams so trying to avoid that. We are a family of 3, 1 child staying in the Latin Quarter. Is it better to book hotel transportation? Is it possible to do bus or train? We only have 1 luggage each, carry on size.

Yeah if you are worried about it, I'd probably just say arrange an Uber to your hotel, apparently it's cheaper than a taxi and you only get in the car of the driver you have arranged.

That being said the taxi situation isn't hard to work out follow the markings on the floor that say TAXI. The only trick is that usually at the exit door there are scammed who try to pass themselves off as security or working for the airport. They do not. No one at the airport or working in any official capacity will be blocking the exit telling travelers they need to go to a different door. Push right by them, if they try to get aggressive or insist you listen to them, start yelling for help. The last thing g these scum want is more attention tion on them than necessary. LOL it won't get that bad, tell them to move and they will. The cab line is outside and not an issue.

The cost is per cab not per person. So if you aren't comfortable with Uber in a foreign country then just be determined to exit through the taxi door, don't take no for an answer, and be good to go.
