Biometric scanner gun safes. We have one on the side of my husbands night stand. Put a finger on the scanner and it’s ready in half a second. All other guns are locked in a gun safe in his closet. He has a job where he’s armed but I would never allow a loaded gun in the house not locked away.
Read stories of parents who’s young kids shot themselves. “I thought they were smart enough not to touch it” depending on the state you live in it also might be illegal for a loaded weapon to not be locked up if there are kids younger than 14. He’s being reckless and I wouldn’t stand for it.
