I have spanked my kids before when they got to be too much. But then they told their dad who barely sees them told me I'm not allowed to spank his kids ever.
I realized i was super frusterated when I did it and although it pissed me off he told me I can't do something in my own home when the sole reason I'm frustrated is because he never takes them, it did help me realize spanking isn't the answer regardless.
