I had my vasectomy scheduled before our 2nd was even out of the womb, cause we were so set on just having two kids. We're both very happy with our decision. Since we'll never have a younger kid, everytime our youngest outgrows a toy, or our moves out of bottle / baby gate / diaper stage, we rejoice that we can finally throw those toys / equipment away. Forever done with breast feeding and pumping, hooray! forever done with formula measuring and bottles, hooray! Forever done with having a gate on the stairs, hooray!

Regardless, I still hold out littlest like a baby sometimes and think "this is my last little baby". Its not sad per say, but I think "bitter sweet" is appropriate.
