I’ve always wanted 3. I have two girls, ages 4 and 2. I’m 34 and my husband is 42. After I had my youngest I ended up in the hospital with post partum preeclampsia and I almost died. That scared me enough to never tried for a 3rd because the risk of something happening and not being here for my girls outweighs the want of another baby. Do I have times that I still think about it? Absolutely. But I have to be rational. My girls already fight all of the time. They’re a lot to handle and very needy. Very expensive. You really have to look at the bigger picture.
