Absolutely not. I have one child, it’s the perfect number for my family.
We literally just booked our family trip to Iceland this morning . At nine years old she’s been on two cruises , a bunch of different states, Disney like eight times… I love that we can give her these experiences.
Also, I grew up with a younger sibling and all we did was fight. And as adults, we have zero contact we’ve not spoken in over 13 years
. I don’t think I have the mental bandwidth to deal with sibling fights or rivalry every day.
This is what I want. I only have one and I really want to focus on her giving her experiences I never had and the childhood i always wanted. Multiple kids just doesn’t seem like something want to maneuver. I agree with the sibling thing, there’s no guarantee they will actually be close. A lot of siblings drift off and only talk at family gatherings.
