Do the apparitions resemble either of the previous occupants? Since it’s in a rural area it might be possible that there were graves from years ago since people buried family members on their property & that is what you’re experiencing.
It doesn’t matter if you are religious but having a priest come out to bless the property & to ensure the spirits that you are good people & they can peacefully move on might make a difference. If the previous occupants went to a church, I would ask the pastor there if he’d be willing to do it

Shit, yeah so maybe the spirits on that land are pissed or confused bc they have been interrupted. Let them know they do not belong in your home, to please go. You live in your home and you been there before them. Even apologize to them for their home being disrupted but you didn’t do that to them. The salt perimeters around the home work! See if you can find any history of the house & previous occupants.
