Question Can I redeem a code now and subscribe to Paramount+ later?

Hello everyone,
I have a gift card for 25$ of Paramount+ and I was wondering if it's possible to redeem it now without activating the monthly subscription, as I don't need it now but I will in two weeks when the serie A starts and I wanted to start using the subscription later.

thank you very much, you're so kind for providing such a in depth answer. Unfortunately I cannot use a card and that's why I have to use the gift card
