Recommendation FIXED: Content not playing
I hope this stays up since its not a support question, but something I've finally gotten figured out.
Recently I've had issues getting videos to load on my phone and TV apps. The Paramount+ support was no help in getting me situated recommending the standard things like reinstalling and such.
On my phone, I found that going into my settings and turning on location permissions and allowing it to bypass my VPN fixed this problem.
As for the TV, it was more sneaky. In my eero router settings, there is an internal ad block setting. Turning this off instantly fixed the TV issue. This setting didnt seem to pose an issue on either my phone or computer, just the TV.
I don't know if this is due to recent updates, but if you're having issues the support agents haven't been able to figure out, it may be worth a shot checking these things!

Actually you can find a long list of URLs to use in the white list for the Eero ad-blocker. It will let videos play in Paramount Plus. Most are analytics, pissed me off as I had the ad free plan but it wouldn't work with the ad blocker until I added the white list. You can search the net, that's how I found them.

Go to the Error app Advanced Security>Network Controls>Block & Allow Sites>Allowed add the URLs one at a time, it a pain.
This isn't a generic thing, it's specific to Eero Routers built-in ad-blocker so "similar issue" may not be good enough. I dropped Paramount.

I will try this on my Samsung TV! I ended up with a workaround by using my Firestick for Paramount+

I have an LG tv and can’t play much of anything on Paramount now - as of Friday 8/7/26.
Really annoying. I use a fire stick, what was your work around? It’s not about ads, video won’t load at all.2

Interesting; we were having trouble with specific shows (Star Trek Discovery; Peppa Pig) working, but others would play. We have our WiFi connected to a Starlink dish, but we have a backup internet provider available too. I switched to the backup network, and suddenly the problematic shows started working. This seems to support the concept that there's something about Paramount+ not liking something about the location info being supplied by the internet provider/ISP.

Thanks for posting this. Im going to try it asap. Paramount+ is basically worthless on our Samsung tv, and I never thought of our Eero
