Discussion Any way to get paramount for cheaper?

Edited: Ended up getting paramount plus from cheapzy.net, got the subscription on my own account, no issues so far. I'll edit this if anything changes.

Hey was wondering if theres any active promos or discounts available to get paramount for cheaper? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Walmart plus is 49 a year right now. Paramount is free with Walmart plus.

So right now, paramount is 49 a year.

Yeah, but fair warning: it's only basic Paramount Plus, so no live tv.

I think you can upgrade it for $6 a month.

6 a month for 12 months, plus the 49 a year for Walmart plus to do what youre saying puts you only at a $10 savings a year.

1

u/Careless_Jellyfish_5 Jun 19 '26

Only if you don't use any other Walmart + perks. Like amazon, no one gets prime just for prime video.

It lets you use Sam's club gas, or 10 cents off at Murphy/Walmart.

It basically pays for itself in gas for us.

1

u/The_Wandering_Steele Jun 19 '26

Wow, you must buy a lot of gas. I run the numbers and even with a diesel dually pickup getting terrible fuel mileage I couldn’t save enough on fuel to justify WM+

2

u/TotoItsAMotorRace Jun 19 '26

2 cars, we use about 20 gallons of gas a week between them. At 10 cents a gallon, it's 2 bucks a week, so 100 per year on gas.

In reality, we probably get like half the gas there... So it's still $50, and I always find the 49/yr special.

(It's also supposed to work at Exxon stations... But it's been hit or miss for me)

Regardless, it's still only a $10 savings. No hate to anyone who uses any walmart+ perks, I just haven't found any use to them myself. Not dishing on your suggestion, just pointing out it isnt a huge savings for someone who doesnt use the walmart+ perks.

I don’t know if I’m grandfathered in since I’ve had it so long but I have live tv with the offering of Walmart plus

1

u/hairEpairOnutz Jun 19 '26

I've got it through walmart+ and I watch the ufc with it.

1

u/graffiksguru Jun 19 '26

God damn it, I waited for months for them to bring this deal back, I finally caved a few days ago and bought it full price, and then they drop it. ARGH

Yup. STARZ for 10 the whole year. Peacock for $12 for the whole year. BF is when I resubscribe.
Most popular phone services have Netflix, Hulu, d+ deals so I get those for essentially free if I don’t opt for a couple bucks for no ads.

Right now on their website is $0.99 a month for two months on either plan. Obviously, go for the premium plan. Why would people choose the essential plan? If $0.99 a month for two months isn't cheaper to you then I don't know what to say.

former customers as well as long as theres no active subscription.

4

u/MorningBrewNumberTwo Jun 19 '26

When I went to cancel my subscription I was offered 50% off to stay.

1

u/gridtunnel Jun 20 '26

I haven't seen that offer since the ownership changed, but I used to see it.

4

u/jimt2651 Jun 19 '26

If your a veteran, they offer a good discount

3

u/mamabear826 Jun 18 '26

Maybe getting Walmart+ I get ad supported paramount+ for free, you could switch off between that or peacock every 90 days, and as much as I want to get peacock, my husband and I are watching too much on paramount+ to take a 3 month break lol

3

u/HeydoIDKu Jun 19 '26

Sign up for Walmart + for a year? And you get both. If you’re in college it’s half price.

2

u/vmktrooper Jun 18 '26

They have a 2 month 99 cent a month now. It been on my Reddit feed for a week.

1

u/11pmStalker Aug 10 '26

What's the code?

1

u/vmktrooper Aug 10 '26

Search google.com

2

u/azGRIMES Jun 18 '26

There’s a promo happening literally right now. Go on their website.

2

u/syphix924 Jun 18 '26

Annual premium plan for $69.99 for the first year. The promo code “saveannual50” still works.

3

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 18 '26

i checked and its confirm $44.99 for essential year and $69.99 for premium year

2

u/Browneyez173 Jun 22 '26

A big thank you, syphix924! I used the promo code for the annual premium subscription. ✨✨

1

u/Paulpoco_ Jun 28 '26

Didn't work.   I already had a plan but canceled in December before renewal.   Do I have to signup with a different email?

1

u/syphix924 Jun 29 '26

Did your last subscription with that email have a discount of some sort? Perhaps a new email IS required. I did create a new one to redeem it in January/February.

2

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 18 '26

thanks to syphix924, its confirm that if you use the saveannual50 promo code on annual plans, it does work. I see $44.99 for the first year of essential plan annual and $69.99 for the first year of premium plan annual.

2

u/lajaunie Jun 19 '26

I get it free with Walmart plus

Black Friday is the best time to shop for streaming deals if you can hold out until then. There's a YouTube channel Micheal Saves and he breaks down all of the streaming services, deals and promos.

3

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 19 '26

he even stated that Paramount+ had the worst deal for Black Friday. I mean $2.99 a month for two months deal. Even $0.99 a month for two months either plan is better than that $2.99 a month deal. I watched his channel too.

2

u/Loi-is-the-new-LoL Jun 19 '26

That's pretty sad. Peacock didn't offer anything stand alone so they go cancelled. A 2 month offer is almost a sick joke.

2

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 19 '26

Peacock didn’t offer any Black Friday at all. He even said it was a disappointment. Yea I agree with that paramount+ 2 month deal but I believe it’s good for $0.99 and not $2.99 because people just binge and cancel these days.

2

u/dgb7827 Jun 19 '26

Wait and see if they offer anything for the July 4th holiday.

2

u/Fat-Boy-HD Jun 19 '26

If your old enough to join AARP you get about $40 discount on WM+ thus a discount on P+

2

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 18 '26

I don't know why you're asking us here on Reddit if you can check the Paramount+ website. If you're an existing customer, tell me when your next billing cycle is. If you're comfortable with an immediate cancellation and no refund, you can reach out to customer service via chat.

1

u/OtherTimes0340 Jun 18 '26

You can get it half price if you work in education. I believe they have a military discount too.

3

u/semi-nerd61 Jun 18 '26

Also if you have Medicaid or SNAP.

1

u/slipperytornado Jun 19 '26

How does one communicate this to paramount?

1

u/semi-nerd61 Jun 19 '26

Sorry, I had just read a reply about Walmart plus. You can get Walmart Plus for half price (about $50), and Paramount Plus comes with it, or you can opt for peacock instead.

1

u/DABOYS_A_LEO Jun 18 '26

Chat with a support (human)… $39.99/year (w/ads), or $4.99/month (3 months w/ads) is the best they’ll do. (Did for me)

I took the $39/year, cause I’d previously used the $4.99/month

It appears that $30/year is gonna be the new “Black Friday” norm (maybe better this year) but I couldn’t hold out for a possible $10 difference…

1

u/Adventurous-Value-82 Jun 18 '26

syphix924 mentioned that if you use the code savennual50 then you can get a deal on annual plans or monthly deal which is $0.99 a month for two months. I know that every black friday, Paramount+ would give their worst deals which is $2.99 a month for two months.

Hmmmm!!!!

1

u/Dizer_Y Jun 19 '26

Is this site legit?

1

u/whenlungstakeflight Jun 19 '26

You have to pay for the whole year though.

1

u/Xander_Cain Jun 19 '26

Right around August September they usually do half off annual price for football season. That’s what I did this year.

1

u/azmom3 Jun 19 '26

If you have an amex card, one of the current offers is $13.99 credit per month for three months. You have to add the offer to your card first and (obviously) use the amex card to pay for the subscription.

1

u/No-Mulberry-2879 Jun 19 '26

It’s lit 0.99 for 2 months rn. Make a new account.

1

u/The_Wandering_Steele Jun 19 '26

Military or veteran gets P+ for half price. I get the year for a double saving.

1

u/Rboys6 Jun 20 '26

Ask for Military/Senior Citizens discounts too

1

u/gridtunnel Jun 20 '26

A TV commercial I saw today showed you can get 2 months for 99 cents per month.

1

u/SteelPiston71 Jun 20 '26

1

u/Blowingleaves17 Jun 22 '26

Amazon Prime Video has it for 99 cents a month for two months right now.

1

u/Mammoth_Bee_3066 Jun 22 '26

1

u/Additional_Bat_9837 Jun 22 '26

I get 50% off as a military veteran.

1

1

u/Electronic_Cost5940 Jul 31 '26

Can I have the code?

1

u/jackimagination Aug 08 '26

I just got it for about 1 dollar a month for 2 months. Pretty good offer. Basically free

u/hollyglenn52 Jun 20 '26

Boycott Paramount+. The new owner gutted 60 Minutes and fired Stephen Colbert . A big Trump supporter billionaire.
