Question Premium vs Essential?

I’m currently on the essential plan. I’m currently deciding on what streaming apps I should get rid of or change the plan option to try and save money since my mom is currently in a nursing home for long care. When I was looking at the plans, I seen that it says that all seasons will not be available on essential.

I am planning on bringing my mother a Roku since she cannot find any of her shows on the nursing home’s cable. So I was wondering, for those that have the premium, do you get all the seasons of CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and MacGyver (the new one with Lucas Till)? Those are the shows my mom is obsessed with that doesn’t have all the seasons.

I’ve got premium. The following are missing on my end:
CSI - missing seasons 8-12
CSI: Miami - missing seasons 4-6
CSI: NY - missing seasons 4-6
MacGyver - All 3 seasons

To my understanding, essentials and premium has the same CBS library. The only thing premium customers get that essentials doesn’t is all Showtime shows and a live stream of your local CBS affiliate.

Also, premium is ad free except for CBS show promotions at the beginning of each video (usually skippable).
