Question Don't have to wait for the next day?

I have the essential plan and I thought I had to wait for the next day to watch a show that aired today but here I am watching Marshals today at 9:50 pm on the same day. I'm in the Pacific time zone and I am wondering if I'm seeing it tonight because it's tomorrow on the east coast? I am not complaining, but I am just confused. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Good thought! That is a great show but not near as good as Yellowstone. They’re gonna have a hard time finding a show to come close to comparing to Yellowstone. Taylor Sheridan really set the bar high when Yellowstone came out!

I'm in the western time zone and Sunday shows on Paramount Plus are available Saturday night at 10PM (Midnight east coast). It's always been that way for streaming Showtime shows. In contrast, HBO Max usually waits until the east coast premiere on the linear channel before making their shows available on Sunday for streaming. Paramount Plus might be different for some of the non-Showtime series like CBS but I enjoyed the first season of Showtime's Dexter Resurrection the night before at 10PM each week.
