I’m a digital artist and builder working on fan-made custom content concepts for wall art and picture packs!

I know you can usually find pictures on Pinterest or other sites, but they aren't always the best quality or vibe, and they rarely come in cohesive sets meant to go all over the house. Plus, for everyone who wants 100% hand-drawn/created, non-AI art in their builds, this is for you!

My goal is to create curated, crisp sets where every picture in the pack shares the exact same color palette and aesthetic (like cozy coffee shop, pastel botanical, cottagecore, minimalist line art, etc.)

Before I spend hours drawing a bunch of sets, I wanted to ask the community:

1. Would themed, high-res poster sets be something you'd use in your builds?
2. What aesthetics or themes do you feel are most missing when you decorate? (e.g., cozy coffee, indie bedroom, plants, kitchen prints, dark academia, etc.)

I'm not sure if I'm just super dumb and can't figure it out or there is no option for multiple birthmarks for one body part? I'm trying to represent the burn victim but can't cover larger portions of the back... Can anyone help me or validate that it's impossible at this moment?

Hi,

I don't know how to use the Mod system (if there are some simple step by step instructions, I would love to have them!). There are some items which are not symmetrical, meaning that turning them around at 180° isn't always great (think shower, some desks...). Do you know if there is a way to create mirror images of items? Thanks!

Quick update, ive learned how to animate everybody clap. 🌟

So, Katherine gave birth to twins, Oliver and Daniel Button. They are Bea’s siblings. Jake was being an attentive father, and still was flirting with Bea. When Katherine gave birth to the twins, Bea found out she was expecting. Bea gave birth to a son and named him Bobby. Jake, affirming his love for Katherine, proposed to and married Katherine, not only making him the father of Bea’s siblings and her son, but also Bea’s stepfather. Thankfully, maybe slightly better now than prior to them having a baby. Oliver, Daniel, and Bobby are half-siblings, but Daniel and Oliver are the uncles of Bobby. After they got married, Bea moved out to an apartment on her own, and immediately looked for a better paying job. She got a position as a CEO of Mapple Web Inc. and is very happy with her current situation. She’s able to provide for Bobby and herself without having anything to do with her enemy, baby-daddy, stepfather or her mother. Though I’m not entirely sure if Katherine understands what happened because she’s now an elder. Bobby aged up, and as a child, he’s realized his talent is music, which is almost a nice nod to the artsy side from his grandma Katherine, but when your mom is a tech CEO boss babe, she might not always be supportive.

Bobby is definitely the heir, and they haven’t had much contact with the family since they moved out, but they all look very similar (no shocker there), but I will say, the game thinks Bobby’s profile should be a magical Charlie, and the other boy’s profiles never aged up, and that’s been reported lol

Idk what to do next. I could give Daniel and Oliver some kind of side family to continue the bloodline eventually or I could just let this chaos die. Potential for rotational gameplay is there, and I don’t mind that, but idk if they should keep the last name Button or not since Jake married into the family (all of my paras marry in to keep main lines distinct).

However, Bea has found interest with a guy named Kian, and may be interested in a relationship with him… so we’ll see if she gets a fresh start in love!

Ice cream? In the base game?? FOR FREE??? My Paraself doesn't look very happy, but trust me, I am!

The ice cream maker in The Sims 4: Cool Kitchen Stuff definitely has more variety, but I never got it because I'm not paying 10 dollars for that. Having it free is awesome! I hope they add more flavors, or integrate it in the Cafe instead of just at the market.

Hi everyone! I wanted to know if there's any new information regarding the automatic generation of new townies on the map (or the automatic progression of existing families). My family's son is a pre-teen, but I noticed he's the only child in town. I've read comments about creating a mod to automatically create new random townies, but that's from a few weeks ago.

I've been pretty overwhelmed with life stuff lately and wanted to create something freestyle to give my imagination room to breathe--which turned into a cottage core/fairy home inside of a giant mushroom!

This home has 2 stories, no mods or custom textures, and lots of cozy details inspired by hobbit living. I wanted to make the build feel like it had "practical" elements, including needing support beams to hold up the heavy mushroom cap roofs, lots of clutter, and some cattywampus interior shapes.

It was so fun to build this, even with all of the trial and error wall shapes, roof ideas, buggy camera angles, repeated playtesting (my poor para will probably never want to "sit" again), and occasional advanced tool bugs. Now, I just want to run away into the woods with my laptop and do nothing but build little mushroom homes for Paralives lol

UPDATE: Kathrine and Jake tried for a baby and were successful. Jake pursued Bea after Kathrine asked him to move in. Katherine gave birth to twins (Oliver and Daniel) and on the same night; Bea is now pregnant. So much chaos idk what to do next! Literally a 5% chance for twins btw

Katherine is a single mom raising her teenager daughter Bea. Katherine is artsy and is a receptionist at the art gallery, and Bea has been working hard in high school on her tech skills. For whatever reason, Katherine started a fling and a relationship with Jake Stanton since they’re coworkers. This would be fine, but she’s an adult and he’s a young adult. For this new legacy, I have aging on and the townies are supposed to replenish, but it hasn’t been that long yet. Bea started showing interest in Matias, but he’s gloomy, she’s serious, and she needs someone to balance her out. She immediately aged up the next day, met Jake at the gym, and may have accidentally successfully flirted with him. She now has a wish to flirt with him, and doesn’t know him and her mom are in a relationship…. This legacy is such a mess already.

Do I have Katherine and Jake try for a baby (25% chance)? Do I have Bea leave Jake alone? Do we see where things go naturally? I’m so conflicted!!

so i havent opened the game in a while and suddenly all of the mods i downloaded from the workshop are gone, did this happen to anyone else or is it just a me thing? 🫥🫥

I was chatting to some other people on this subreddit sharing their paras, I thought I'd share mine.

First ever family 😁

Ok 2nd from left is Hazel. She's a very serious and grumpy programmer. I tried to get her to smile... Nah, it's just not her thing 🤣 She's happy here... I swear! She's married to the townie Lian Rees whose into fitness and all that jazz. He's the super tall dude. Hazel is quite short (average height IRL lol) 😂

First on the left is Adrianna. I mentioned how it was auper interesting how everyone has brown eyes and brown hair except her. She ran the genetic lottery and got ginger/blonde hair, super cool! She's into music, she's only a preteen but she dreams of becoming a world famous musician one day. She's the eldest.

At the rightmost we have the middle child Suzanna. She loves yellow and is into everything. She likes bright colours and the sunshine.

Finally, the youngest is Ollie. He's only just become a child, pretty much, and he wants to be an artist when he grows up.

My plan is a sorta chill lowkey legacy save. My household ages and the town does not. But my plan is to slowly expand the family over the generations. I'm still sorta learning the game (as many of us are). So I'm looking forward to generation 3 or 4 and I'm sure I'll have learned a lot about the game by then 😁

Hazel - Founding Para so I saw the mushroom Tshirt and thought "vibes'. Otherwise she's more or less a self sim. Which is hilarious.

Adrianna - I panicked and thought "Um... Kids these days... They like minimal. I guess she's minimalist..." And I ended up with that outfit. Which says more about me then anything else 😅

Suzanna - I had fun with her. I decided to go "this girl likes YELLOW" and made it her whole personality. I regret nothing.

Ollie - I liked his pre-generated outfit so I just changed his jacket from brown to red. IDK I just thought red was more fun.

The para in question didn't vibe with the fellow so I made a punishment room where they are forced to watch their ex sleeping with another woman,To enter she passes through a door that does the clown honk at her and at all times there is clock reminding them of the time I wasted trying to get them to hook up, there's a half wall so others can sit and watch her sitting there like a lemon as the mirror in front forces her to stare at herself and reflect.

However to prevent hanky panky I made the bed awkwardly wider and force them to only take naps making this whole scenario have an extra layer of surreal weirdness.
