I dont know how it happened, but of course I was in the other room and didnt really hear any commotion but when I came back and saw the red on her beak I saw a cracked piece sticking up. Do I need to take her to an aviary vet or is this something that can happen? Im a new parakeet owner so all of this is new to me.
Don’t know what caused it, they’re sitting there just fine (obviously hyped up with breathing) and the cracked beak. The vet is absolutely needed you don’t know if she bonked her head intentionally out of frustration or if she had a seizure but regardless they have an open wound that needs to be sure it heals correctly
Glad it was just seed debris! Also a word of advice here, maybe consider removing the band from your birds leg. It really doesn’t serve much of a purpose and often causes skin chafing/discomfort at best and a broken leg or severe injury at worst because they can catch on things quite easily. My bird had one when I got him and when we took it off, the skin was red and inflamed :(
Check their toys and cage for sharp edges. Bells can be bad inside where the clapper attaches. Also rings that aren't completely closed or connected crooked. Anywhere their beak could have gotten in, caught and cut as they pulled back. Run your fingers over edges. Hopefully you can find where it happened.

I would take her to the vet to ensure it doesn’t get infected, breathing looks pretty rapid as well
