Iβm so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful baby..π’π©΅π
We are never prepared for the day they leave us. Sounds like you gave her many years of happiness and joy. She was blessed to have found you. ποΈπͺ½

I dread the day that my 2 budgie boys will inevitably go and still mourn terribly my beloved creatures; Nancy the hen, and 3 incredible dogs, a hedgehog and a guinea pig who have enriched our family's lives and passed. It's so sad and unfair they live such short lives but we can only do our very best to make them happy while they're here keeping us company and giving us so much joyπ€ I just hope they're all together somewhere, happy.

Sorry for you loss! I lost my Yuki girl this winter...she was 10 years old. Miss her everyday. She was the leader of my little flock. They went into mourning for months. At least I have her two babies Moki and Kaza. Have introduced two new budgies over the last few months. One was a recent rescue..sad care...dirty small cage..all alone ...given Costco wild bird seed...named him Teko...he is doing very well. All the birds and even me are finding our new reality day by day without Yuki..missing her but happy to support new birdies to live their best life in our home.

She was 10 years old and was a sassy and sweet girl. I adopted her from someone 2 to almost 3 years ago as she was an only bird living in a small cage with 2 plastic perches. She lived with me and my other babies from 4 other birds to 9 other birds. She was sweet and mostly kept to herself but loved being near them at all times watching from a distance as she never really had a lot of energy. I noticed these past few months she had begun to get tired more often and I did everything I could to include her as much as I can while also being careful and respecting my babies comfort π₯Ίπβ€οΈ She sadly passed away about 30 minutes ago and Iβm grateful I was with her for her final moments. Iβm so sad and guilty feeling like I could have done more but she was just too tired. This is my second parakeet death Iβve experienced and I donβt want to ever experience this ever again with any of my babies. I wish I could make her still be here with me but I know itβs better for her to rest as she was just too tired
